Letting Go of Control

When I feel afraid or uncomfortable, control appears as an anchor of certainty protecting me from drifting into the unknown. Yet this protection is an illusion, as the anchor also holds me back from new experiences, including potential joy and growth. By pulling up this anchor, I open myself up to the unknown. This may feel scary at first, but if I can learn a new pattern of trust, I welcome possibility, wonder, and love.

  • What are you currently anchoring yourself to?

  • How is that protection serving you?

  • What is it holding you back from?
